"Jari" Application
Child Safety Standards & CSAE Prevention Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Jari is committed to providing a safe environment for every member of our community. This policy sets out the standards we apply to prevent Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on our platform, how users can report concerns, and how we respond to them. It applies to all users, content, profiles, and communications on the Jari application and its related services.
1. Zero Tolerance Policy
Jari maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE) in any form. Such content and conduct are absolutely prohibited on our platform, without exception.
Prohibited content and behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or distributing any material that depicts or sexualizes minors, including drawn, animated, or AI-generated imagery.
- Grooming, which is any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sextortion, or threatening a minor or coercing them into producing sexual content.
- Trafficking or advertising minors for sexual purposes, or soliciting sexual contact with a minor.
- Any content, message, or behavior that promotes, normalizes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation of children.
Jari is intended for users aged 18 and over. Accounts found to belong to minors, or used to target or contact minors, will be removed.
2. In-App Reporting Mechanism
Every user can report inappropriate content, harmful behavior, or safety concerns directly within the Jari app, without leaving the application.
- Report profiles: Open the user's profile and tap the "Report" button, then select the reason that best describes the concern.
- Report messages and content: Use the "Report" option on the message, post, or listing in question to flag it for review.
- Block users: Tap "Block" on a user's profile or conversation to immediately stop all contact with them. Blocked accounts can be managed from "Manage Blocking" in the app settings.
- Contact our safety team: Concerns can also be sent directly to our safety team by email (see the contact section below).
Reports are confidential. The reported user is not told who submitted a report. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
3. Content Moderation & Enforcement
Every report is reviewed by our moderation team. Reports involving child safety are given the highest priority and are handled as quickly as possible. When a violation of this policy is confirmed, Jari takes the following actions:
- Immediate content removal: Violating content is removed from the platform, and evidence is preserved as required by law to support investigations.
- Account suspension: The account involved may be suspended immediately while the matter is investigated.
- Permanent ban: Any account found to be involved in CSAM or CSAE is permanently banned, and we take steps to prevent the person from creating new accounts.
- Referral to authorities: Confirmed or suspected CSAM and CSAE are reported to the relevant authorities, as described in the next section.
Beyond user reports, Jari uses a combination of automated tools and human review to detect and remove prohibited content.
4. Legal Compliance & Authority Reporting
Jari complies with all applicable local and international laws on child safety, including the laws of the United Arab Emirates on child protection and on combating cybercrime.
Jari actively cooperates with law enforcement and child protection organizations. When we become aware of CSAM or CSAE on our platform, we:
- Report it to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement and cybercrime units in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Preserve relevant account information and content, as required by law, to support investigations.
- Respond promptly to valid legal requests from law enforcement agencies.
5. Contact Information for Safety Inquiries
For any safety-related inquiry, or to report a child safety concern directly to our team, please contact our designated child safety point of contact:
